As anticipated, the Lagoon City will host the 11th BIC International Conference in a prestigious venue in which science, medicine and art have inspired for centuries: Scuola Grande di San Marco, at Venice Hospital.
The Conference venue is located in the neighbourhood (or Sestiere) of Castello, not far from Piazza San Marco.

The Civil Hospital of SS. Giovanni e Paolo in Venice is an important medical-scientific venue that tells a lot of Venice’s extraordinary civilization. The hospital combines state-of-the-art medical care with culture, history, art and spirituality. In fact, what is today the city’s main hospital was formerly the seat of one of Venice’s six confraternities, which had the mission of providing assistance and compassion to the poor and needy.

On this 11th edition, the BIC Conference will feature two intense working days in a protected environment and in full compliance with the required safety and prevention measures related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Live and on-demand streaming will be made available for the registrants of the virtual programme.
